Deer Island is a historical place to commemorate the loss of the Irish people. It is located in Boston. During the Great Famine in the 1800s, more than a million tried to flee to the United States, but many died halfway in the Atlantic Ocean because of heavy storms. Here, Oliver is mourning the loss of his grandpa, who passed away in China at the end of 2023. He always wanted to cross the Pacific Ocean and visit Oliver, but the distance and pandemic separated them apart. He waited, waited, and waited until there was no chance.
